..

I have had mine for just over a year and it stopped working, I went through the usual steps Plug, fuse, overheating, etc

It does not want to turn on. (I wonder if It has been knocked over or a corroded wire is to blame) I went to open up the compartment (6 screws) and finally found out why it was so cheap and why I bought the spare motor without attachments at the time when the demo was going cheap.

Six screws hold the plastic (Green front/Black back) in place, 4 of them just spun around when attempting to remove the cover to investigate why it was not working. Thanks to the uber long tunnels to each screw head none of the drill bits will reach in so far..... Not really sure what to do? Any ideas.

humm, I just went to unscrew the "brand new" power washer to get an idea of what was inside and the same thing happened :-(

edit: Ok So I just ripped it apart and checked all the circuits inside, electricity throughout even after using switch (turned on.) I am not thinking much at this stage other than sending it to the skip for struggling to find a service agent in my area which didnt charge £50 per hour to look at it.

Nice and clean inside like a brand new motor, so overall very disappointed with a product that I have looked after. I bought the back up, hopefully this will last 20 years like my car engine.

Has it got a warranty, but you'll have to disguise your attempted repairs. My Aldi hedge trimmer has a 2 or 3 year one. You'd expect Bosch to be longer.
