Gateshead slipway opposite B&Q?

Does anyone have any info/experience of this slipway opposite B&Q, i was driving on the A1 today over the bridge and seemed to look like a nice slipway.

- Can public use slip?
- How much launch fees?
- car/trailer parking?
- Any speed limits on the tyne?
- Launch and recovery times, how long do you get out there for?

Looking on map the slipway im talking about is further west of that above link,

I was driving north on A1 from metrocentre and going over the bridge i had the big scotswood bnq on my right and the slipway was maybe 1/4 mile down on my left. It looks way better than the slip im currently using. Il post pics if that will help any. Cheers

Looks to me like the "Tyne Cruising Club". They have a facebook but it doesn't say much.
