Gas Star Water Heater

Hi,
I have a gas star water heater on my boat for heating up the water for washing dishes etc. The unit is approximately 30 years old but has given great service. Unfortunately my ham fisted attempt to attend to a small water leak on the valve whereby water pressure allows the main gas burner to be supplied with gas resulted in me breaking the cover to the valve. Does anybody now of a company who may be able to help?

Don't know about Gas Star but the Paloma heater is still available. Buy in any Camping/Caravan shop - chandlers are excessively greedy.

Hi Harry, I really wouldn,t mess with it after 30 yrs, give it a Viking Funeral and bite the bullet, buy a new one, it,s too dodgey to mess with, or at least get a qualified person to look at it, ok, I have gas on the boat too, but after having friends killed by a poor installation I am paranoid about safe installations on boats.
