Gas rod kicker

At the moment I've got a solid kicker... and I mean solid... its a stainless bar about 2" diameter, with a thread either end that you twist to tension or untension.... is a gas kicker worth the investment? be nice to bring it back to the cockpit....

Have a look at the bendy Barton one, less to go wrong, and cheaper.....
My choice when the pennies eventually cover the bottom of the piggy bank again.
