We have a Carver V4 in our Sealine 285 that has never worked (despite attempts to vacuum it clear etc). I'd like to get it replaced with a Propex HS2000e but can't find someone to install.

Does anyone have any recommendations? It would be nice to have a zero-hassle installation from someone who knows what they're doing and can be fairly paid for their care and attention. As a result I've not bought the unit yet as I'd prefer the installer to source it.

Marcus Paxford of Marcus Marine does most of the gas work locally. He is very busy at the moment though.

You can get the Carver repaired! Google is your friend...

Fitting is easy enough, the Propex should fit in roughly the same as the Carver, which means you could probably fit it yourself with a bit of DIY ability. The only serious safety concern is the LPG pipe which needs to be leak tested. This is paramount...

the intake and exhaust hoses are similar, likewise the exhaust MUST be secure and tight...
