I've installed a new Garmin Reactor Steer-by-wire autopilot for Volvo Penta using the corepack which includes the GHC 20, Reactor CCU, and Volvo autopilot gateway. The boat has twin volvo penta D4-300's with EVC-E electronic steering and joystick docking.
Anyone have experience installing one of them?
I am unable to get the reactor CCU to talk to the autopilot gateway, and don't know how to troubleshoot further.
The instructions for the gateway say the double blink means it isn't communicating to the autopilot, but I have cabled as described in the addendum.
There was also a cable that appears to allow you to connect the CCU directly to the EVC bus, which partially works (sees rudder position and Volvo EVC system) but fails to engage the autopilot (gives an error saying autopilot lost).
