garmin plotter auto scroll???

anyone on here got Garmin Echomap Plus 65CV GPS or similar?

Can't figure how to get screen to scroll automatically as boat moves along to top of screen.
Have to use cursor to move it every time.
plotter new to me.
any ideas?

Don’t know the Garmin system but Standard Horizon and Simrad have an icon that says “restore cursor “ or some such if you move the cursor. There may be a menu item which sets the cursor behaviour in the first place.

The boat doesn't move...the chart does...you can usually select whether you want the boat icon in the lower or middle of the screen..but it stays there and the chart "scrolls" down...are you sure you have a gps signal into the plotter?

hit the "quit" button. on yours could be the "home" button.

ye only got it. normally had raymarine. must look through thr menu see what i can find.
yes havr gps signal.

Raymarine would be "find ship" ??

you probably are in some sort of zoom mode and there is a quit or something button to return system in normal operation mode.
THEN and only THEN it will follow properly the moving boat and the map will scroll as it should with the boat in the middle (more or less) of the screen. Had that on a 751.
