I'm having a problem with loading additional maps onto my Garmin Gpsmap 76CSx plotter.
I have two Garmin Bluechart NT CD's (Atlantic & Americas) and I want to add an additional folio of Caribbean charts to the GPS.
Each time I click on the Garmin Mapsource icon on my laptop a box pops up saying: "There is a problem with the City Navigator Europe NT V9 Installation, please re-install City Navigator again and re-start Mapsource again"
The thing is, I have never loaded "City Navigator" to my laptop and nor do I want it - I'm only interested in marine charts!
I have downloaded the latest Mapsource software off the Garmin website but the same warning message pops up...
Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this problem??

PS: by the way, I need to get this sorted out b4 15th Nov when I fly out to the Canaries....I'd prefer the GPS to be loaded with some Caribbean charts b4 we get there!!:D

if you are running vista make sure that the program's have permission to run
i had a great deal of trouble get it to run on a vista machine look i control panel the permission folder

Thanks Adrian,
My laptop is running XP so no Vista problems!
I've now solved the Mapsorce problem - I called the Garmin helpline and their technical department gave me some advise and e-mailed over full instructions.
They advised me to uninstall the Mapsource program and then delete (carefully!!) the appropriate register entries....Then re-install Mapsource program.
Mapsource is now working fine....but I had to re-load both the Americas & Atlantic Bluechart CD.
