Reading other posts regarding GPS options this seems to be the most popular. My Question is: What is the best price people here have seen it advertised for, and who was the seller?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I opted for a the very cheap option of a Geonav 5 Plotter from Marine Superstore for £129.00. It is a simple unit with 5 waypoints and 1 route. It has a 5" monochrome display and is splashproof.

The charts are a different story, it accepts Navionics Nav-Charts. I opted for the full blown card which does all the South of England and to Brittany, Normandy and the Channel Islands. This cost £170 + VAT but are very detailed. You can get the Solent area for £65.

No NMEA output, but the whol thing for just over £300 is not bad. The GEONAV units were old stock from Simpson Lawrence and used to be around £500 + plus charts.
