Garmin GPS Tide Prediction Site Accuracy.

My handheld has tide prediction sites on it... are they actually useful as anything more than an double-check you've worked it out right from the almanac? Mine seem really picky... I enter a date and then it changes the displayed date while I'm looking at the output on-screen. Doesn't instill much confidence!

Some of the electronics we supply have to have the date put in MMDDYY and not DDMMYY .. Might be its converting it .. Suppose you could always put a line round it and throw it over to let it check depth for itself .. May convince it to work properely after a couple of duckings /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
