Garmin GPS 65 antenna

I have a Garmin GPS 65 linked to DSC radio. Not picking up any satellites, so presume antenna at fault or water in coax. The antenna is old stick type and coax has gone brittle and cracked. Looks to be a sealed unit, so impossible to renew coax (good bit of designing there !!). Have to therefore renew antenna + coax, no spares listed on Garmin site.
I see that there are available magnetic car type on the web, also a mushroom type on ebay only available from Hong Kong for about £12. Would rather deal with UK supplier. Anyone had any success with the same problem ?

I have one which is feeding my DSC. Lot more money than £12 though. Good quality though.
