garmin g chart

hi i have found a garmin 180 going cheap, it uses micro g chart and set is from the u.s., it is already in uk as someone has bought it.
are g chart still readily available and is the fact its from the us any problem and has anyone any expierience of the system.

G charts are no longer sold, your only chance is to pick up a second hand one. I've been looking for a SW one for a wee while now without too much luck.
