Garmin Echomap, 2000 network depth display question

I have just installed a new to me 65sv on a sailing yacht. I am not using a Garmin depth sensor plugged directly into the unit. Using a converter cable the plotter is connected to my Raymarine Seatalkng network that has an i60 depth instrument Plus a few other instrument. Working my way through the set up and features I notice the echomap does not appear to display the basic depth data which I assume is available on the 2000 network. Please does anyone know if there is a settting in the echomap that selects basic depth sensor source data from the 2000 network? I can see there is a long list of depth sensors to select but I have assumed this setting is only if the depth sensor is directly plugged into the Sonar/depth socket. I am not expecting it to appear in the full blown Sonar features, just in Gauges.

BTW other data on the seatalkng seems to exchanging with the plotter ok e.g. wind and SOG.
