Garmin Blue Chart/ Map source on PDA

I use it on an IPAQ 614c - this has GPS built in, but if your PDA doesn't you can use a BT dongle. - You'll need a 12v charger/adapter unless you have a very big battery on the PDA. - I only use it as a backup to the main unit in the boat. (and for Garmin XT in the car)

No - I use Garmin Mobile XT, and can see the maps and map features, plus any pre-defined routes set up on the PC, but you cannot plan new routes on the PDA, just get your position. - As I said, it's just for backup to the proper kit really.

Yes sorry I didnt get back, just needed "un zipping" Oooh Err! Missus!. Got it on the street pilot but as wilson said. I have to set up routes on the PC. OK unless conditions change at sea and my destination changes lol. Still very usefull if your down S,Wales there a pint in from me Leomagill.

Think il just buy a Garmin plotter and stop being so tight !!
