Garmin/ Autohelm interface

I have a portable Garmin GPS Map 76S complete with charts for my area of operation, recently I was given a Autohelm Navcentre 600 Chart plotter only both these units are NMEA 0183 compatible. Can I use the Garmin to feed it's GPS and map information to the Autohelm Navcentre in other words just use the Navcentre as a display?

[/ QUOTE ]No, you can only feed the GPS data (position, etc) to the Navcenter; you can't transfer the Garmin's map information.
