Thinking ahead to new boat which has a garage, and at present a completely flat floor. Present tender is a small excel inflatable and Suzuki 2.5 outboard but we are considering something jet propelled - a Williams or a Spark, the latter I am not sure would fit height wise.

As far as I can see, both would need a similar launch and recovery system. The Williams guy at LIBS said that such systems are usually fitted during the build of a new boat however my question is has anyone retro fitted such a mechanism and if so how easy / complicated was it and where did you source the kit.

I believe that the floor is removable, which may make securing of track etc quite easy.

Hi Andy; reading about tenders around here, very few tenderisti favour Williams or come to that, any jet type tender. Reasons include being exceptionally heavy and a tendency to be unreliable. A syndicate manager I met on Mallorca recently pursuaded owners to buy a spare W tender to cover increasingly predictable break downs. I'd also consult the boat manufacturer to find out what OEM tender was being accommodated in the garage design and look at getting as close to that as you can & see if that works out. Just a thought!

Hi Andy, I know that Williams sell a tender launch system which we have in the back of our new to us v42, we are waiting for a minuet to arrive in the spring.
We were lucky and our boat came with such a system installed, if you speak to Williams themselves they will be able to help you as I believe they have such a system in build currently.
with regards to fitting it I'm sure it can't be a difficult retro fit as long as you can access the underside of the garage.
With regards to the
