There is wonderful annual regatta in Kinvara not far from where I live that features races with these wonderful craft. Well worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.

Do they have the red public phone boxes in Galoway? In the old days a mine of information for the discerning tourist

The St Patrick was very travelled (including to Greenland and North America), and she was one of the hookers who sailed to Brest for the 1992 Festival - it was an amazing event (I was there)
