I have found a second hand Ls400, did all galleon 22's have this fitted as standard?

In my boat which I cannot get to until tomorrow morning I have the original fittings so am hoping this is a straight swap fit on top job, am I being foolish?

The seller has provided me with this information : Basically you will need at least 4" below the fixing plate and the bowl + seat & lid sits about 7" above the fixing plate, so an overall 11"

Will it fit?

Thank You Jason.

A bit less below i think and a bit more above. Diags in the manual will show why and you'll soon understand anyway when you get it

Nice to make a stainless steel or GRP plinth if you can otherwise something out of wood.

I used to have a Simpson Lawrence SL400 on my boat, which whilst it worked ok most of the time did need new joker valves and springs to keep it properly maintained, items which are almost unobtainable nowadays. I scrapped mine and bought a Plastimo toilet from (dare I admit it!-Marine Megastore)which I collected....!
If you should need to go this route and replace yours you will find it fits the existing space perfectly and at the correct height. The price was around £85 I believe with a first order discount, and it has functioned perfectly for 4 years now. You may need to fit an anti syphon connection, I didn't need to for either unit.
I see Force 4 Chandlery have a similar unit @£79.95 with a spares kit @£27.65 their reference is 830531 in the catalogue.
