G3 Polish Compound - Paste or Liquid

If it was not enough there are so many polishes to choose from, I am now down to selecting G3, but see there is a choice of paste or liquid.
Paste is by far the cheaper.
Apart from the obvious, whats the difference. Is the liquid easier to apply.
Will be using a machine polisher.

Have used the liquid for 10 years, I find it spreads easily, also the pros seem to prefer it.

Personal choice I think

The liquid is more economical .. a little goes a long way .. so may not work out that much more expensive.

Ive not used a liquid ... might try it next time I have to buy instead of the paste. The tub of paste might outlast me though!

bought a huge tub off ebay for a bargain price.... it's lasted years !

Yes - I bought a tub at a motor factors years ago. Using paste you have to wet the polisher sponge head regularly, so in practice there's no real difference paste/liquid.
