G A Feltham - Portsmouth

I have recently purchased a 12'6" clinker dinghy built by G A Feltham of Portsmouth. I have tried but cannot find any information on these builders. Does anyone have any information or knowledge on these that they can impart?

In 1976 I bought some stuff from the closing down sale/auction at Felthams . The building workshop with slip underneath was in Broad St. Old Portsmouth next to Vospers Yard R .H side going towards Lucas Sailloft. I don't know much of their history except they built clinker Whalers, cutters etc for the R.N The premises are now private house, nice place to live. I thought they were known as Harry Felthams but not sure, Imagine the Naval or City library/museum would have info' in local history section. Scarborough Sloop...I was interested in buying one that used to be on mooring at Whale Island, belonged to a Medical Officer in R.N that was early 1970.s cannot remember her name Hope that helps re Felthams James
