Has anybody got any advice on the best manufacturer of furlers for flying headsails. I know a number of manufacturers make and sell these at varying costs, so who uses what and how good are they.

Thanks

It depends on how much you want to spend. I suppose Reckmann have a good name and we have had excelent service from ours but I am looking at fitting a second Stay. I will use the Furlex as it is cheaper and has a good showing on our pontoons with good reports. It was also recommended to me by a Pro. who doesnt have any vested interests. I bought some parts for the Reckmann (skipper damage) a few years back and got a bit of a shock with prices.

I don't know about the manufacturer - but Arun sails supply these - I am considering one for my gennaker which is set flying. IIRC the cost is about £100
