We where chasing a dingy in St Kats at the weekend (as you do) but noticed that no water is coming out of thier engine, it was also smelling a bit, so stopped them and it turnes it is air cooled, That is cool

Brilliant, ours is older 2hp verion, light weight only 12kgs, makes it easier to stowe and lift out of lazzarette. Being air cooled there is no water pump impeller to sieze or waterways to block so no need to flush through with fresh water after use. It has
a centrifugal clutch which is very simple to operate. Only critiscism is that it is noisy. One observation is that to service the thing costs £60, but this is only oil, filter changes and greasing. material costs negligable, my thoughts are that now warranty has expired i will do it myself and if it only lasts 5 years throw it away and buy another.
