Sort of like a Fisher …..excuse the American chat!…..maybe the bowsprit could be reduced and you can set a furling jib for off wind sailing.America seems to have more variety or yachts than the UK

I think Fisher owners would be quite insulted at that, they had proper sails and could actually sail. There are some very fine boats designed and built in the US, I have sailed a couple but this isn't one of them.

Yes your right that’s why I used the word funky a NorthshoreFisher could not be called funky …..but it’s interesting on a horrible wet cold day skim through possibilities 🙂.My father bought a hull and deck molding from the original company back in 1971 and rigged the 30 foot Freeward as a gaff cutter

The Great Loop is probably a good bet for it though, given that 90(?)% of it is on inland waterways and the ICW. As per his video title. It might be a minger, but it’s probably quite good for the job.

I reckon a Fisher is more than interesting on a horrible wet cold day - it's what I want if I'm out there, sitting in the warm and dry while all those flash boats' crews are freezing their proverbials off
We love our Fisher 34 come rain or shine - great for the children! If it shines, you open the roof, doors and windows :-)
