Fuel tank cleaning

Hi,

Anyone had their fuel tanks emptied and cleaned by a 'local' company ?

The only one I can find is TankTech, who came and had informative discussion today. Now awaiting the quotation :-( Two tanks, no inspection hatches, so cost is going to be high before we even start.

How big are the tanks? Why not do it yourself?

It's the norm in our part of the world.

I agree, self-help is my norm !

However, with each tank holding 200+L I cannot see a way of me pumping out

Awaiting the results of a fuel analysis following extensive polishing. Keeping fingers crossed that I can avoid the expense of getting professionals in !
