Son has been having a nightmare summer with his go faster mobo (21ft ChrisCraft with V8 5.0 litre. Last weekend after getting her finally back in the water after several people had had a go at her, and a burnt out starter motor right at the last moment. He set off from Portsmouth on his way to Brighton. after a short distance of about 40 knots it started to stutter, so he turned around a made his way back to Portsmouth at tick over which was as fast as it would run. The following day it was behaving itself - My diagnosis - crud in the fuel tank
The problem how to clean out the tank , - does anyone know of a firm doing this in Brighton area???????????
