I've had this problem for a while with revs dropping and not being able to maintain full power for more than a minute but able to maintain 2500rpm all day.

After sorting out all the filters and the lift pump, checking the gaskets , checking each olive etc i was finally determined that the only thing to do was take the tank out and give it a good clean.

So having removed the fuel tank access cover i started to prepare to remove it and it was just then that i noticed that an errant fender in the lazarette had somehow landed on top of the tank - not noticeable unless lying on one's side - and become wedged between the emergency fuel cutoff cable and the back of the cockpit and that this had somehow turned the emergency cutoff 95% shut.........

Removed fender and full power is once more restored. It's always the things you didn't think of isn't it!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
