I and looking for a double 3 position + off valve and a double 2 position valve.

The 3 position valve is for the fuel tank selection (I have 3 seperate diesel tanks feeding a single engine) and would like to fit a valve to select which tank to draw fuel from plus to send the diesel return back to the same tank (yes I could use 2 seperate valves but would like a single selection lever)

I also wish to have 2 fuel filters with a change over valve to select which filter is used and to isolate the other filter so the filter could be changed without stopping the engine.

Don't think you'll find those valves in manual form, although you'd certainly be able to buy industrial solenoid-operated valves which would do the job. Tempo make a 4-way manual valve, which would allow selection of fuel from 1 of 3 tanks, but wouldn't allow an off position.

My boat has dual primary filters with isolator valves. However, note that unless you include some sort of priming system, you can't bleed the air out of a newly-fitted filter with the engine running. If you have a fuel tank installed higher than the primary filters, you could use gravity to bleed the air out.

Yes Tempo also do a 3 way + off valve but not a double valve.

I could mount 2 together with some gearing to allow one handle to operate both valves at the same time but I was hoping to avoid the extra work.

I take your point about bleeding the newly fitted filter.

This arangement I was thinking of fitting after the lift pump and so if I had seperate T type 3 way valve (in and out) I could position the in valve to both and the out to from the running filter and crack the new filter bleed screw.

[/ QUOTE ]I didn't think they did. You need 4 ports - one for each of your 3 tanks plus one for the engine feed. They only seem to do the one 4-port valve.
