fuel prices

Is fuel (diesel or petrol) cheaper here or abroad? I thought petrol was certainly dearer in the UK, but I hear this is not so. Can someone give me an example, particularly for fuel bought in a Med. marina, compared with a UK marina? Ta.

Ref the "money grabbing" Government.you can either pay tax directly Or indirectly.Decide which you want.It is very easy to avoid direct taxes..............

i am not sure how UK fuel compares to our Jersey prices (petrol 35p/litre
diesel 27p/ litre) but in france i heard it is double what it is here. there are so many boats from france that fill up here, so i guess it may be true

Spain, 46p a litre for diesel, but remeber thats duty paid diesel! (same as for a car) Petrol 67p a litre, but it can be obtained cheaper in some parts and of course more expensive!! Duty free diesel is available, but only to commercial boats, IE. fishing, ferries etc. So if you can befriend a ferry operator or fisherman, well use your imagination!!

Not sure overseas... but Petrol averages between 85 and 95p / ltr.

Unless you have a mate that wants to go out on the boat for the weekend and has a company car with fuel card.....!

Cheers,
