I want to replace my flexible fuel pipe between a CAV filter and Yanmar 2GM lift pump.
Simple enough, I thought.
But I can't see a way of doing this without a "christmas tree" effect with adaptors & reducers.
The CAV has 1/2" UNF outlet, the lift pump has an 8mm banjo.
Previously, I had a pipe made up at a diesel specialist, but he had to cut off and re-use one of the fittings.
I would like to use 5 or 6mm ID fuel hose and barb type terminals, is there a simple way?
First port of call was ASAP of course, but I can't see the wood for the trees now.
