we never got our fuel level meter to work,
since the boat was delivered it Always gave maximum level, or now minimum level of fuel,
never been able to use this level indicator,
we spend several occasions to sort this out, but didn't even find the fuel sensor,
(I think I found it but impossible to disconnect / test this)
we tried the different sensor settings; yamaha - Europe - US

can someone explain how this level meter system works on a 2yo yamaha F70 ?
the level meter is part of the Yamaha multifunction display

thanks for advice

Mine works fine. I cant remember whether there is a sender (rheostat) in the fuel tank, or whether you program the fuel tank size into the Yam electronic display then it counts the fuel burned by the engine. If it is the latter, then maybe no-one has told the display the size of the fuel tank (45 litres, iirc)

In the deck, front, under the round s/steel lid, is there a fuel tank sender? I think there might be.
