Thanks hun ...... we're going out to look at a property and mooring in Cap D'Agde at the end of the month. Probably taking a look at Barcelona in the same trip too.

There are naturist resorts all over that area. The one further west at Saintes Maries de la mer has a beach 30+ km long and is compulsory "non-textiles" ie naturist. If in doubt, get your kit off.

Wish you had asked last week - only came back yesterday. I could get you the exact price if you want it.

Would love to Phil, but we're in France/Spain in Jan, then Portugal in March so I really can't take the p1ss and have more time off in Feb.

Besides the 6 Nations starts in Feb /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

For 500 - 1000 litres, we paid between €0.85 and €1.00 per litre from marina pumps this season and the operators just laughed when I asked about quantity discount although that may have had something to do with my franglais. I think tcm's price is for larger volumes by road tanker
Just returned from Spain and diesel seems to be about 10% cheaper than France

Re: road tanker

i think they will talk to you for 1500 litres plus, possibly even just 1000 litres. Only priviso is that you must be in a berth with tanker access, of course...

As others have said, a bit under a euro/litre. BUT if you MCA code the boat and faff about with a bit of paperwork including putting boat on commercial (as opposed to pleasure) section of the UK part 1 register, you get fuel at "red" rates, about 35c a litre. I will be doing that this summer, till then I cant say whether the cost-hassle trade off is worth it.....

well, i think that the guys at the pumps will tell you to naff off cos otherwise loads of mca coded boats wd be doing this, instead of just the trudgy fishboats, no?

Mind you, praps if you get your boat a bit fishyfied, with miles of nets and lumps hacked off here and there it might just work.
