I am thinking of fitting one of these as advertised by Force 4 . They are a bit pricey. I have had condensation problems in the past. Anyone got one. Are they worth it.

I can't see that it's worth £200, it's basically only an additional pre-filter. Even the humble CAV filter/separator will do the same job, and filter elements are as cheap as chips. Force 4 also claim that it "prevents diesel bug" - this sounds rather far-fetched! If you need better filtration, a decent Racor unit would cost less than half as much.

I've got this, a blatant copy of a Racor FG500, which was around £70 back in 2016 and seems to have dropped in price even more since then. Excellent ugprade from a standard CAV filter due to the glass bowl (yes, I know you can add one to the CAV too) and because you can replace the filter without having to drain anything. Got over 400 hours on it now and it's proven to work well.
