Fuel Filter Inspection bowl

I am trying to clean up my engine bay a bit and get things into a nice tidy order. My primary fuel filters are the normal separ type have and have a glass (or some sort of plastic) inspection bowl but it is stained so badly that I cant actually see through it. Any bright ideas on what would clean it up?

I think you will need new ones.....

I have washed and dried them like dishes, and that worked ok but if not replace bowls.

If they are working why worry about a "visual", just drain them once fortnight, and catch the sample in a glass jar. Most surveyors do not like the "see through" bowls anyway, and demand metal ones.
