Fuel filter 'capability'

Can anyone tell me what the 'mesh' size is/should be for fuel filters. I have a water bowl then a CAV filter with its own water bowl then the engine filter ( and probably a coarse filter in the pump?)
Non of the filters I purchased quote what particle size they will/should filter, can anyone help.
I recently purchased a funnel filter thinging it might be a first line of defence, I see it is quted as having a 149 micron filter, how does this fit into the scheme of things?

Yanmar secondary filters are 2 micron, I believe. I put 10 micron ones in the primary, though some people say only 30.

I think you will find that the CAV filter will be 5-7 microns........from memory?
