Fuel filling hose

On my boatt the fuel filling hose has been there for quite a long time . I noticed earlier this year when trying to fit a coupling the hose was stiff and brittle . Any body got experience of this? How often should one change the hose ?

Sounds as if it might not be hose to EN 1360 or 1361 standard. Change it BEFORE it splits and dumps everything into the bilge. What's the consequences and cost of cleaning up 500l of diesel from the bilges ?

Thanks but my boat is in |Corfu and I will need about 4 metres

Can't you blag, sorry, buy, a length of hose from a petrol station ? Possibly check with whoever services their pumps and you might find an old length.
