Wasnt it a lovely day for sailing. My boat is not ready yet - a few more coats of varnish, some new halyards and a bit of paint we should be ready. So today I popped down to my local club where we have Classic Day Boat racing, my pictures are here

Lovely pictures, thanks - DSCN1327 is of us, one one of the few occasions we weren't going backwards in that stretch of the river. We also lost time rescuing our boathook which abandoned ship just off Limehouse...

Ha! Great picture, Colin - observational forumites will notice that in that shot we've forgotten to throw off the running backstay, hence the mainsail having a big line down the middle... no wonder we were going backwards!!

Cheers for that - and thanks to Rivalranger, as I've just found page 2 and there are loads of lovely pics of us!!

Do you two mind if I borrow some of these pics for Crystal's website - full accreditation will of course be given...
