She's at Neyland YC, I believe?

Hi Adam, been very busy mate. Great to see your new boat, and looking forward to seeing you at Dale later in the year. You did once have a website or a blog, do you still update that, and is there more detail on your refit there?

What happened to Watermint 1? Someone told me the mast had snapped, but I haven't seen you for a long while.

Anyway, good to see you're up and running again, I'm sure the finished job will be fanastic.

You must have a big garden if you have a dry dock, Adam. Will the Ferry fit in there?

:D:D

Anyway. I haven't done our blog for ages, either, Had to move it as it kept getting hacked. We changed Ishtar's standing rigging a few weeks back. Just as well - the rigger found that one of the spreaders was not connected to the mast - the original weld was less than 1mm thick! I've been up and down that a few times, too!

Must find the time to sort the blog, and the boat. I've worked a hell of a lot this winter, so maybe I can have more time off this summer!

Hi Tico!

And Graham.

See you all soon, I hope.

u get ther with yor mast ,

i hat to do my mast and re do all the riging and freling gear , but i find its uesful when i got a ues of a a sailmakers atd get stuff don ther and then , i even hat to re spray pant my mast black to tidey it up and it look so shiney on the boat

im lost on my sabb boat engine

i been working on the sabb diesel engine to day and i been looking at the valve clearance of 0.3mm (.012'') , i sorted the inlet valve and then i look at the exhaust valve and i cood not get it a justed to 0.3mm (.012'') and the was still a bit of play and that got me thinking , was the push rod bent or warn down of ues then i look at the ball bearing in the rocker arm and that look good then i went to my garden to look at the other sabb engine for sper parts and it was the same on the exhaust valve exhaust and that got me thinking what cood it be to do this cood it be the cylinder head not be torque lode of nuts : cylinder head nuts mabey not of been torque to 14 kpm, 100 ft.-lbs and i was thinking if it was this mavey the valve clearance cood of been sorted but i am looking in to it , ! aney iders

Have a look in here.

Sorry i tried to upload the Sabb workshop manual but it didnt work,

"Google" Sabb marine engine and it will take you to a site with lots of downloads,If yours engine has a reverse gear its a Sabb GG.click on it and download, hope it helps.

mr sabb engine is up and runing good now , i went out to do some work on the boat to day and the tide was gowing out fast as the boat is a tripel keel the boat sat on top of my moring block and the block is 2 ft tall , the midel keel on the block and the boat relise it did not need the bilg keels so the boat sat on its side on the bech and cood no do no wirk on the boat for 3 howes and i was stuk on it till the tide came in , but it was luckey ther was no dameg to the boat :)
