Ostend is wet, windy and cold.
No buoys in RNSYC, only alongside berth.
Quite empty and lots of closed restaurants.
No internet access as left laptop at home.
Not sure if Sailorman will be aware of change to berthing.

Have to say the RNSYC basin was very rolly and at 27 euros a night for a 27 foot boat very expensive. Most I paid anywhere on this trip.

Had a steak in the yacht club which was excellent even though it was almost the same a my berth for the night!!

Was Beef, but I like horse too. Some friends got some excellent horsemeat sausages from Calais market, forgot to look when I was there.

What length did you tell him

Robert asked for my length in feet and got the answer 27 feet, although the Sea Feather does add another foot to that!
