Day 1 - Killaloe to Dingle (via Ardnacrusha and Limerick)

Departed Killaloe on inland Lough Derg at 0945 or Sat 15th July heading for Ardnacrush Dam and then Limerick (3 locks before tidal). Had to wait for the tide to drop in Limerick so we could fit under the bridges. Then we headed off out to sea via the Shannon Estuary.

Starting out from Killaloe on Ardnacrusha's head race canal. Heading for the 102ft locks at the hydro power station.
