I am about to buy a second-hand Friendship 26 - as it is a rare type of boat I would like to know of other owners and their experiences.

I need to renovate the wood interior which is weathered ie the wood is bleached and the finish has worn off - is it best to varnish or use a wood oil treatment?

Plus electrics - what is the best way to tackle the installation of a battery switch for a double battery?
