whilst away, a friend offered to look after ra boat. very greatful i was to. a supply of beer in the fridge and much more was laid on. Upon my return, the boat was still in the same place, hadn't sunk, and although I couldn't remember how much beer was in the fridge I was sure some of it had gone. However, the engine now belched blue smoke and huge quantities of unburnt fuel. What's the wee scaldie done? the eberspacher still worked .. how can that be?

Hmm .. I suspect he's serviced your engine. At least the engine works now, a wee burdie told me it was totally lifeless when you left it! Have you tried replacing the injectors?

A lot depends on the finer detail of the contract agreed between the two parties.

We need to know precisely what was specified in terms of the following

a) minimum and maximum quantities of beer to be consumed

b) minimum and maximum temperatures, frequency and duration of eberspaching

c) frequency and maximum permitted revolutions of engine operation required.

In addition it would be advantageous if you could supply evidence that the engine was, like your good self, in perfect working order when this responsibility was handed over to your young friend.

Finally - if you could intimate as well as possible your desired outcomes from this unfortunate, nay, lamentable episode we will do all we can to expedite a satisfactory conclusion
