fridge Problems Waeco CB-110

I have a waeco CB-110 Fridge that dose not, work compresor seems to cut in and out but it dosnt seem to get cold dose any one know any repair agents in the Emsworth hampshire area

My new boat has a fridge which does the same

(12v compressor/built in cool box, thermostat)

Seller declared it dodgy so no complaints, though he did say (wishful thinking?) that it 'worked sometimes'...

As an impecunious fettler, oop North, anything I can do myself to check/test/fix/accept as unrepairable/ (and take frozen 2ltr water bottles)?

Dunno, but it sounds as if you've lost your refrigerant.

I would contact Waeco for a solution, but you may need to dismount your cooling plate and send it to them for recharging.

Fridge repair

Around here there are many mobilr car aircon rep[air people who would have all the gear to regas the fridge. (provided they knew how much to put in) and provided they found the leak,

When mine played up last year a repair chap said that the gas and compressor would be ok and just to replace the black control box that the wires plug into. I did and it has worked since then.
