I am hoping to wire up my waeco fridge conversion this weekend.
Installation manual has no guidance for circuit protection of any detail.
I am using the waeco coolpower eps100 which is a mains priority PSU which takes a feed from the house battery and either feeds 12 volts to the compressor
when disconnected from the mains or 24 volts when connected.
Max rating is 10amp.
I have a choice of 6mm2 and 10mm2 trirated cable relatively short run from house battery to PSU <1m and a similar length from PSU to Compressor.
I am thinking of fitting a either a 10 amp or a 16 amp MCB(thermal trip)

This is single pole and would only be in the positive feed from the battery to the PSU to protect that cable D rated as I suspect the inrush will be quite high.
Any comments about additional protection in the circuit downstream of the PSU would be welcome? Also considering two pole MCBs
