fridge engineer who will come to Limehouse?

What is it,gas,12v/240v?
If gas you need a gas safe engineer who can work on LPG and boats.
If 12v/240v you need that chap Erbas.

It is 12v and I know Erbas very well, so will ask him though didn't think it would be his bag. It's not the electric bit I am concerned about, it's the connection between the compressor and where the fridge is actually sited.
thanks

clearly not making myself very well understood! Probably due to my own lack of understanding.
It is a 12v fridge - it is in our saloon table in middle of saloon. the power and pipe to the compressor comes out of the bottom of fridge (currently bolted down so can't see under it), goes under the sole boards and under the companion way where it is connect to power and the compressor. The bit I need to disconnect is at the fridge end, but I just can't see how it is done and suspect that we need to move the fridge first. That's the bit I'm worried about, I don't know what to expect once we move the fridge and if I am in danger of damaging the pipe or the connections.

Maybe we just need to move it carefully and actually see what's under.

The pipe from the fridge to the compressor (I assume there are two) will contain refrigerant and should not be disconnected in any circumstances. A refrigeration engineer will drain the refrigerant before disconnecting pipes. Any competent refrigeration engineer should be able to do the job.,

Have you asked the marina office? They would normally keep a register of all tradesmen who have worked there, and which boat they have worked on, so you could enquire about the standard of work and the cost.

Good Luck.
