Friday is looking good up this end of the country, and this sudden onset Summer cold I am smoorin' wi' will hopefully have diminished to a background bore by then.

But . . . it's Friday the 13th - should the good ship Fairwinds put to sea? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

We'd planned our first proper sail of the season (once I've sorted the rigging out, finally,) starting Friday 13th, with some reservations, but as it's looking like an easterly 5 possibly 6 (theyr and xcweather) and SWMBO doesn't want to be sick on her first trip this year we might well wait to Saturday when it will be warm and sunny and F2-3. The wind looks as if it'll be just about perfect up your way at the moment, though. Is there any sign of the midges yet?

Have a good sail.

We're adding Friday to the weekend to get three days in. Earlier in the week it looked like easterlies all weekend, so I thought we would go down to Sanda, but now it looks like a cracking easterly for Friday, backing to the northwest over Saturday and Sunday, so I think we'll go north on Friday. Maybe Otter Ferry.
Friday 13th. Pah!

Well - if you wander over the hill you should see Claymore in Pullers but with a far more Godly, Righteous and Civil bunch aboard than the last time she was there - skipper included.
