Hi been looking for a furler drum winch for the cockpit for the furler line .
I've seen one on a limbo 9.9 which you winch In the line then tighten a lock nut screw down and locks the drum.
When you want to un furl the Genoa you just release the nut and pull the sheet.
Looked everywhere but can't find one .

Why not use a clutch?

As already posted, if you don't want to lock it off around a cleat, then a suitably sized clutch. As for 'winch', it's always been my understanding that you need to get the load off all types of furler swivels before rolling in the sail, so a winch is unnecessary, indeed careless use might wreck the furling system.

Welcome to the forums! Ideally, you should be able to furl without using a winch. If you can't, it's perhaps time to service the swivels on the forestay, and check any blocks which the furling line runs through.

It is common to use either a cheek block with a built in jammer ora standing block with a built in clam cleat for this application. A winch should not be necessary unless the sail is very large.
