The Shureflo diaphragm pump that supplies my pressurised water system has suddenly stopped working. It did get wet when the engine telltale became disconnected from the hull outlet and started spewing water into the cockpit locker that percolate through to the Bilge. However the fuse is intact and dampness may not be the problem.
Is there anything I can check and fix or would I be better off getting a new pump?
The model of pump appears to be discontinued and the suggested replacement seems awfully expensive. Is there any reason why I can't just buy a caravan pump rather than a marinised one?
So many questions - and I'd rather be sailing.

My Flojet pump (similar thing) had a corroded electrical connector among other issues . A good clean up , fresh O rings and a new electrical connector fixed it. Almost a year later and it is still working.

Have you checked the power supply to the pump?

If OK . Get the pump off and onto the workshop bench for examination and testing. It may only require minor repair. Pressure switch perhaps. While it's in the workshop a thorough overhaul might be worthwhile.

It is almost certainly the pressure switch (I understand the motor is not turning). These are grossly underrated and not up to the job. They have to fail at some stage for sure. The good news is, they are simple to change and replacements are available on Ebay for around $15. To prevent the story repeating, wire in an automotive 40A relay and let the switch control just its coil. That is what I've done to all 3 pumps I have - never problem since.
