French varnish

Classic Boat this month gives a French varnish called Le Tonkinois good credentials and I saw it demonstrated at a boat rally over the weekend. It looks interesting, being flexible, hard wearing and entirely natural. Does anybody else have experience of it?

I use it and think its marvelous. It is so easy to put on and apart from watching for runs on vertical sufaces it is just brilliant. You must store it in a bottle with no airspace and so I use the type that is used for photographic developer.(A kind of concertina bottle) Get these from a good photo shop. The finish is second to none and in three coats.
