Am trying to work out what the best thing to do about the standard French plug 230v sockets fitted to my Merry Fisher . Do I struggle to find an adaptor that fits a Type E socket or change all the socket to UK standard type - help pls

Maplins have adaptors, visit a shop or online; what we did was to buy French appliances or fit French plugs, with a couple of adaptors for UK plugs when needed occasionally; an extension lead with a UK socket can be useful.

Go foreign and fit round pin plugs .. Works fine .. Salesman said the reason they dont change them on Beneteaus is the British ones are brown not white .. Either that or its cheaper not to .. You can always use an extension with a round pin on one end and 13 amp sockets on the other .. Got a box of two pin black plugs with two meter cable attatched .. Could put you a couple in the post if that any good .. Email me .. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
