The subject has come up a few times over the years, and this website is often mentioned: THE FRENCH CANAL ROUTES TO THE MEDITERRANEAN, as is the author Michael E. Bryant, and his book "The French Canal Routes to the Mediterranean".

I've just discovered Michael E. Bryant has started a youtube channel, and have a couple of videos covering this subject, which might be of interest to some:

It's sailing focused, but it covers the info you would need for a motorboat - including max draft / air draft / beam on each canal - and breakdown of the main routes, distances and time it is likely to take.

Thank you for posting.
This is something on my wish list - but only in retirement, which is not for a few years........ if all goes to plan.

I have a copy of the book although its an old edition

From a brief look ..Google translates the VNF website quite well.

Would love to do the Paris-Marne route in the future. Are there any good blogs or YouTube channels covering motor cruising in the med?
